Fernando Jose Torres Sanz was born on 20 March 1984 in Fuenlabrada; Spain. Torres is a Spanish footballer who plays for Football Club Chelsea and Spain national football team as a Striker. Torres has played a major role in the victories and success of the Spanish National football team.

Fernando started his early career with Atlético Madrid in 1995 where he played for almost 6 years. In those years he made a lot of progress and with his hard work and struggles he made his name was then promoted to senior team at Atlético Madrid.

Senior Career of Fernando Torres

He continued his senior career with Atlético Madrid, which started from 2001 with Atlético Madrid football club and played for 6 years in which he made 82 goals in 214 matches’ appearances. Then later in 2007 he was invited to join Liverpool in 2007, Torres with his best performances in Liverpool, he scored 65 goals in 102 matches appearances. Impressed with his performance, Chelsea, English Football Club, invited Torres to join Chelsea. In 2011 Torres joined Chelsea and till to date he plays for them. So far he has scored 7 goals in 46 matches’ appearances.
